Located on Rua Ignácio Saturnino de Moraes, the park also features an artificial lake where you can try sport fishing or simply soak in the scenery. The Estação Campos de Canella
Located right in the heart of Canela at Rua Largo da Fama 77, this station houses a covered area featuring a train that doubles as a restaurant—the Trem do Campo—serving regional dishes with a panoramic view of the city. The station is also home to several shops selling handicrafts, clothing, footwear, accessories, and souvenirs. Some of the stores you’ll find include Associação Canelense de Artesãos, Casa do Chocolat, Loja do Livro, Loja do Vinho, and Loja do Café. There’s also a cultural events and live music space called Big Land. Open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, it’s a great place to dive into Canela’s history and culture.

Praça João Corrêa in downtown Canela
This square is the stage for Canela’s cultural performances, ranging from dance, theater, and circus acts to national bands. There’s also a city sign that makes for great photo ops. From the square, following Rua Osvaldo Aranha, visitors reach the Catedral de Pedra. The square is officially open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, but you can visit 24/7 if you’re up for it. This public space is perfect for appreciating local art and catching the cultural events that happen regularly.
