How to Get to Gramado and Canela

Gramado and Canela are located in the Serra Gaúcha region of Rio Grande do Sul state. The most common way to get there is to fly into Porto Alegre and then take a transfer or rent a car for the roughly 100 km drive to Gramado. If you’re coming from São Paulo, the flight to Porto Alegre takes about 1h30, and by car, the trip can take around 15 hours along the BR-116 and BR-101 highways.
